Well the time has arrived for me to begin my journey on the AT. The most optimistic prediction is that I last two weeks. 2000 people try to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail every year about 50 complete the journey. The odds are against me, no doubt, but the one thing I enjoy more than being [...] Get out of the way! Only speculation exists about how we arrived on Spaceship Earth. Some will say it was God and others will say evolution. Now that we are here we need to make sure we stay. We can’t afford to go the way of the dinosaur and yet that may be our fate [...] What is the probability of life outside of Spaceship Earth, most people will say it is pretty slim. Now more than ever we are finding life in inhospitable places and in places we have been unable to look previously. We may have even found life in our own solar system. Mars is already showing signs [...] Human potential is not difficult to quantify. We all know those who excel for they are hard to keep hidden. Well then why don’t we all excel? Genetics. There are differences in all of us, some of those differences limit our abilities. However, our greatest asset is our mind. I’ve talked about this before but never on kikbot.org, it’s time I put it on record. |
